At the time John was 15, Sheila was 14, Tina,12, Rick, 10, and Greg was 5 years old. So Sue decided to move to the Keddie Resort in November 1981 and she rented Keddie Cabin 28. They first moved into a one-bedroom trailer that her brother and his wife had recently vacated, but the cramped trailer park was not ideal for the large family. Sue packed whatever belongings they could into her vehicle and hit the road and the family started a new life in Quincy, California, about 150 miles north of Sacramento, in part because her brother, Don, lived nearby. If you have any information about the murders of Sue Sharp, John Sharp, Dana Wingate, and Tina Sharp, please call the Plumas County Sheriffs office at. In 1979 or 1980, Glenna “Sue” Sharp, left her abusive husband, James, with five children in Connecticut (John, Sheila, Tina, Rick, and Greg). There have been several suspects and with a botched investigation by the authorities, the perpetrators remain either at large or have died subsequent to the events 40 years ago. Despite an extensive investigation, the Keddie murders still remain unsolved and the case is regarded as Plumas County’s greatest crime mystery. In 1981, there were four horrific murders in a cabin in the town of Keddie in California.
